I’ve always believed myself to be consistent, but I didn’t realize until recently how consistent I am in my tastes.
In the late 90s*, USA had a showed called La Femme Nikita. It’s about a woman who becomes a spy for an organization referred to as Section One. Each episode sees Nikita and Michael (her trainer, boss-ish type, lover man) going on a different assignment. A year or so ago, I found out the series was on DVD, but the seasons are ridiculously expensive. So, I put them on my wishlist and I’ve been hoping for the best… to no avail. Well, a few days ago, I decided to look up some episodes on the internet. Lo and behlod, you can watch the entire series (I think) on theWB.com. Amazing, right? I know.
After watching a few episodes, it occurred to me that this show was oddly familiar. Reminded me of another show that I like… a little show called Alias. Then it dawned on me… THEY ARE THE SAME SHOW. They are both about women who become spies, spend each episode using their spy tricks to catch someone or steal something, and then they fall in love with their Section One boss (Nikita) or CIA handler (Alias).
Then, I think some more and CHUCK IS THE SAME THING! But this time it’s about a man who becomes a spy, goes on new missions each week, and…. you guessed it, falls in love with his CIA handler!
Moral of the story? If there’s a spy show with a romantic relationship, it will have at least one avid viewer.
* I always thought the show aired in the early 90s, but Wikipedia differs.

I am super late with posting my tv schedule this year. My bad! Part of the reason is because I don’t watch TV as much as I used to. Most of the shows I watch I catch online (thank you, Hulu).
I guess I should advise you not to be surprised when you don’t see So You Think You Can Dance on this list. Fox’s decision to move it to the fall line-up has thrown me off and I haven’t been able to watch it. I work a lot of nights and weekends and I simply don’t have the time. I almost can’t be bothered.
SUNDAY
FOOTBALL!!!
Family Guy (FOX)
MONDAY
Monday Night Football (ESPN)
The Big Bang Theory (CBS)
TUESDAY
90210 (CW)
WEDNESDAY
Glee (FOX)
THURSDAY
Bones (FOX)
Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)
Private Practice (ABC)
The Office (NBC)
FRIDAY
Dollhouse (FOX)
Come January, that list will change. Psych (USA) and Burn Notice (USA) will be finishing up their seasons with the winter schedule. And CHUUUUUCCCKKKK (NBC) will be coming back in March. I cannot begin to explain how excited I am about those. Psych is quite possibly the funniest show on TV. You’ll also notice that FOX has moved up in the world as far as my schedule is concerned. It used to be pretty dominated by ABC, but NO MORE.
I tried watching Melrose Place, but it sucked the big one. I’ve heard great things about Modern Family and I have an episode that I need to watch on my iPod. Finding the time to do so has become a problem. A few people have also recommended Community, but… eh. I don’t like the main dude, the one from The Soup.
My main recommendations to the world are Glee and Dollhouse. They’re both amazing shows. One is a hit and the other is probably in danger of being canceled. Dollhouse is pretty fantastical, so if you have some free time - WATCH! I want this show to stay on for awhile. It’s genius, fresh, new, weird - all the elements of a good Joss show, no?

I’m watching the A-List Awards on Bravo. Why? Why, why, why? I just… get caught up in these things. However, Nick Verreos designed one of the dresses and I want to watch just to see what it looks like.
I adore him.
